Sustainability
Preserve our planet
Our contribution
Environmentally friendly action and careful handling of our resources have a significant impact on the future of our planet. At Binsack Reedtechnik, we also act and work in this awareness day after day.
Our sensors make a small but significant contribution to this. They prevent, for example, the uncontrolled leakage of liquids from entering the environment uncontrollably. Similarly, our products do not require their own supply voltage based on the reed switch, which in turn saves enegrie and thus saves resources.
We pay attention to environmentally friendly production processes and to the reduction of energy consumption. For example, we have mainly switched our lightning to LED technology.

- Receycling of raw materials
- Use of circulating packaging
RoHS & REACH
The RoHS Directive of the European Union (Directive 2011/65/EU) restricts the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. Particularly problematic toxic and environmentally hazardous components such as lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) are classified by the Directive up to a low limit value (mass content of 0.1 percent) from products. Since March 2015, 4 other substances have been added: bisphathalat (DEHP), benzylbutyl phthalate (BBP), dibutyl phthalate (DBP), diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP).
RoHS is the abbreviation for “Restriction of certain hazardous substances”.
In addition, the Directive restricts lead-containing soldering of components and prohibits toxic flame retardants in cable production. We have been implementing this for a long time. Almost all of our products are RoHS compliant. If you have any further questions on this subject, please feel free to contact us.
REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 is an EU chemicals regulation, dated June 2007, to protect human health and the environment from the risks of the use of certain substances. REACH stands for Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals‘ Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals’.
